Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 12 slices Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds Bread
  • 16 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 20 slices roasted turkey
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 avocados, thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. Cook bacon until crispy, either in the oven or on the stove top in a skillet. Drain well on paper towels and set aside.In a small bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic powder. Set aside.Toast the bread so that it’s still soft & has a light golden colour and gather all ingredients to assemble the sandwiches.Place 1 slice of toast on a cutting board. Spread some of the mayonnaise mixture on the bread, add 2 slices of turkey, and top with a small handful of fresh spinach, a slice of tomato, and 2 slices of bacon.Layer another slice of toast on top. Place 3 more slices of turkey, 4 slices of fresh avocado, and 2 more pieces of bacon. Spread some of the mayonnaise onto the last slice of toast. Place the toast aioli-side down on top of the sandwich.Cut into 4 triangles and secure each piece with a toothpick. Enjoy!
