Spinach Feta Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1 clove of garlic - minced
  • 1/2 sweet onion - minced
  • 4 cups of baby spinach leaves
  • 1 cup of feta cheese
  • 4 slices of provolone

Preparation

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the garlic and onion over medium heat until softened.
  2. Add the spinach and turn the heat up to medium and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add in feta cheese.
  4. Spread one side of each slice of Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds with butter and place 4 slices into a skillet.
  5. Divide and top with spinach feta mixture.
  6. Top with provolone cheese and the other slice of buttered Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds – butter side up.
  7. Heat in skillet until crispy and golden.
  8. Flip the sandwich and repeat.
