Ingredients

  • 8 slices of Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 slices gruyere cheese
  • 8 slices fresh ham
  • 1 bunch collard greens
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Pan fry each egg to desired doneness (i.e. easy over, sunny side- up, over hard etc.)
  2. Wash and chop greens, blanch and saute. Seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread one side of each slice of Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds with butter and place 4 slices into a skillet butter side down..
  4. Top with sliced ham, fried egg and some sauteed greens.
  5. Top with gruyere cheese and the other slice of buttered Oroweat® Organic 22 Grains & Seeds – butter side up.
  6. Heat in skillet until crispy and golden.
  7. Flip the sandwich and repeat.
